SUPPORT / HOW TO

Correct a trip's start or end

If DriveHub named the wrong place at either end of a trip, you can correct it. The recorded route and GPS distance stay as they were.

Choose a different start or end

Open the trip, pull its card up and tap Correct Start or End. The editor shows the recorded start and end next to any correction. Tap Choose a different place, pick a suggestion or type the address yourself, then tap Save Correction. You can add a reason if you want to remember why.

A place you pick from the suggestions is kept with its map position. An address you type is kept exactly as written. The recorded route and GPS distance stay unchanged; only the places named at each end change.

A trip that is split into segments, a held trip, a trip still being recorded and an imported trip cannot be corrected.

  1. Open the trip and tap Correct Start or End.
  2. Tap Choose a different place under the start, the end or both.
  3. Tap Save Correction.

Undo a correction

Right after saving, the editor shows Correction saved with Undo Correction. Undo puts back the places that were in force before. DriveHub keeps the history of corrections and undos; none of it is deleted.

If the editor says the correction was saved locally and asks you to reopen the trip, close it and open the trip again to check the result.

What a correction changes

A corrected trip shows Corrected by you under its route, and reports show the corrected places; PDF and Excel reports mark the trip as corrected. Distances in reports are still the measured GPS distance.

Corrected trips are not shared with an employer in this version, even when they are Business.
