Bring your trip history with you

Import is free. You check what DriveHub read before any trips are saved.

Export trips from your old app

Save the mileage or trip export from your previous app in Files on your iPhone. DriveHub accepts CSV and Excel (.xlsx). The importer has verified instructions for Driversnote; choose Another app or a spreadsheet for a different source.

  1. Export the history you want to move from the previous app.
  2. Keep the original file until you have checked your imported trips in DriveHub.
  3. Open Reports → Import from Another App and choose the source. Follow the export instructions shown there if you need them.

Pick the file and check its columns

Tap I've Exported the File and select it. DriveHub detects common columns. For an unfamiliar spreadsheet, it may ask you to map Date and Distance; End, From, To, Type, Notes, Vehicle and odometer columns are optional.

  1. Pick the file in the iPhone file picker.
  2. If the column screen appears, choose the columns for Date and Distance, then map any optional fields you want to keep.
  3. Tap Continue to see the preview.

Check before importing

The preview shows how many rows were read and sample trips. Check the distance unit and date order carefully; a miles-to-kilometres mistake changes every total. Existing trips matched by start time and distance are identified so you can avoid doubling your log.

  1. Compare the sample dates and distances with the old file.
  2. Correct the unit or date order if DriveHub read either incorrectly.
  3. Review any duplicate matches and the number of trips that will be imported. Then tap Import Trips.

Review the imported history

Imported trips keep their original dates. Open Trips and check a few entries, especially their type and vehicle, before making a report. You can import an overlapping export later: matched trips are skipped rather than added twice. If a row could not be read, check the preview or the source file instead of guessing its distance.

Your file does not open?

Tell us which app exported it and copy the error shown in DriveHub. A sample with private addresses removed is enough to investigate.
