The rate
€0.25 per km
In force from 1 January 2019.
The rule that governs it
The Tax Department's leaflet on benefits in kind (Fringe Benefits leaflet, October 2018, in force 1 January 2019), section 4.17, "Πληρωμές με βάση το διανυόμενο χιλιόμετρο". Source quality: primary.
What every trip has to record
Section 4.17 asks that "όλο το ταξίδι που αποζημιώνεται θα καταγράφεται σε βιβλίο διακίνησης" — every reimbursed journey is recorded in a logbook available to the Tax Department. The leaflet names no fields.
How long to keep them
The employer keeps the logbook for at least six years.
Where this comes from
The requirements above are quoted from the Cyprus Tax Department. DriveHub re-checks these, and the rate, against the authority's own pages; this page is built from that record.
DriveHub records this automatically. It tracks each drive in the background and keeps the start and end, the distance and the route. Tracking and the missing-drive check are free; the report in the shape a tax office expects is part of DriveHub Pro.
