SUPPORT / HOW TO
Keep each car’s log together
Vehicle details affect both the report and the rate used for its trips.

Create the vehicle record
Open Settings → Vehicles and add your vehicle. Name it so you can distinguish it from other cars and fill in the registration and any details the app asks for.
- Add the vehicle, then open its detail screen.
- Choose Whose car is this? accurately; ownership can change the rate category.
- Complete the country-specific fields shown, such as fuel, engine size or fiscal horsepower, when they apply.

Check which vehicle each trip uses
For a manually started trip, check the vehicle chip before tapping Start. For a saved trip, open its details and correct the vehicle if needed. If you set up car Bluetooth, associate the automation with the intended vehicle in the wizard.
- Open a few saved trips and check their vehicle assignments.
- Move an incorrectly assigned trip to the right vehicle.
- Use the vehicle filter in Reports when you need a separate document for one car.

Add dated readings
A recorded trip distance and an odometer reading are different records. Enter the actual reading from the car, in the unit shown. A starting reading gives later readings a useful reference.
- Open Settings → Vehicles → your vehicle.
- Choose Add Starting Odometer or Add Odometer Reading, as offered.
- Check the reading date and value against the car before saving.

Check the consequences before deleting a car
Deleting a vehicle keeps its trips but removes their vehicle assignment and deletes that car’s odometer readings. The confirmation also lists other affected vehicle records. The deletion applies across synced devices. Correct the record instead when that is all you need.
- Edit the vehicle details for a changed name or other correction.
- If you delete a car, read the confirmation and check its remaining trips afterward.
- Re-export a report if the vehicle information on an earlier file needs to change.
