SUPPORT / HOW TO
Choose what to keep and what to erase
Your trip history lives on your devices and, when configured, in your private iCloud database.

Understand your copies
Your trips are not stored on a DriveHub server. Recording, classification and report generation happen on the device. Private iCloud storage is separate from the files you have saved or shared as reports. Apple Maps receives information needed for map, address and route requests.
- Check iCloud Sync in Settings → Help & about to see the storage status.
- Keep exported files somewhere you control if you need them after deleting app data.
- Read the privacy policy for the details of storage and requests.

Use Recently Deleted on the same iPhone
A trip you delete is kept in Recently Deleted for 30 days on the iPhone where you deleted it. This recovery copy is local; look on that phone. Delete Now removes the recovery copy permanently.
- Open Settings → Recently Deleted, or the entry at the end of the Trips list.
- Find the trip and tap Restore before the 30 days have passed.
- Check the restored trip in Trips and make a new report if an earlier export needs correcting.

Read Delete All My Data before confirming
Settings → Delete All My Data lists what will be erased and asks for confirmation. The action removes the app’s trips, places, vehicles and settings and propagates through iCloud to other synced devices. It also empties Recently Deleted in version 1.5.2 and later; in older versions, clear that recovery list separately. There is no undo for the full erase.
- Keep any history or exported reports you still need before starting.
- Open Delete All My Data and read the listed consequences.
- If you intend to proceed, follow the confirmation on screen. If the app reports a failure, read it and seek help before assuming all data is gone.

Check files and purchases separately
Deleting the app removes its device copy; it is not the same as erasing the synced history. Delete All My Data does not delete reports already saved in Files or sent to someone, and it does not cancel an Apple subscription or remove a Pro purchase.
- Delete exported copies separately where you saved them if you intend to remove those too.
- Manage an unwanted subscription through Apple’s subscription screen.
- For an accidental full erase, explain what happened to support; DriveHub has no server copy to restore.
