SUPPORT / HOW TO

Decide what to do with a held trip

A held trip is a drive DriveHub doubts was separate, such as a copy of another trip. It stays out of your totals until you confirm or remove it.

Why a trip is held

DriveHub holds a trip when it looks like a copy or cannot have been driven. There is no Confirm all: each held trip needs its own look.

The card says the reason in words. It touches a trip you already have and shares its start or end. It starts and ends exactly when another trip does. It overlaps a trip you already have in time. It was too fast to have been driven. Or you deleted it earlier and an update put it back without asking.

Open the held trips

Two places lead to the same Held trips screen. Trips shows a Needs you card, N trips are held, with a Review button. Reports shows a step, N trips held, with the distance not included, also with Review.

  1. Open Trips and find the Needs you card that says how many trips are held. Tap Review.
  2. Or open Reports. In Ready to file?, tap Review on the held trips step.
  3. Each card shows the held trip with maps, times and distances, beside the trip it touches, where there is one.

Remove it, confirm it or fix its start

Remove asks first. The dialog is titled Delete This Trip? and says: Remove this held trip? It stays in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Confirm trip keeps it as a real drive. When the card suggests removal, DriveHub first asks Keep This Trip? with the evidence, for example: It looks like a copy of the trip, with its time and distance. Keep both? Choose Keep Trip only if it was a separate drive. For other reasons, Confirm trip keeps it at once.

Fix start appears only where it can help: a recovered trip that starts where the other trip ended and goes on somewhere else. DriveHub rebuilds the route from that point, which needs a connection.

  1. Read the reason and compare the two maps and times.
  2. Tap Remove if it is a copy, then tap Remove again in the Delete This Trip? dialog.
  3. Tap Confirm trip if it was a separate drive. If DriveHub asks Keep This Trip?, tap Keep Trip.
  4. Tap Done when the list is empty. The screen then says All checked.

Check the totals and undo a removal

A confirmed trip counts again in totals and reports. A removed trip is gone from them.

If you removed the wrong one, restore it from Settings → Recently Deleted within 30 days.

  1. Open Reports and check that the held trips step is gone.
  2. Make a fresh report for the period if you exported it before.
  3. To restore a trip, open Settings → Recently Deleted and choose Restore.
