Check several trips together

Make one change to a carefully selected group. Check the visible period and filter before using Select All.

Start from the report period you need

Open Reports and select the period you want to check. Report preparation offers actions for missing details: for example, Add beside trips without a tag or purpose, or Find beside an odometer discrepancy. These open Review Trips. A row saying all trips are checked and tagged can also open the list.

  1. Choose the report period, then open the relevant preparation action.
  2. On Review Trips, read the period and Filter. A shortcut may open a problem-specific filter such as No tag or No address.
  3. Change the filter to the group you need. If this screen has a fixed report period, return to Reports to choose a different one.

Check the selection before applying an action

Select All selects the trips currently visible under the chosen period and filter. Changing the filter or period clears the selection. A filtered empty list means no trips match that filter, not necessarily that the period has no trips.

  1. Tap Select and choose the intended rows, or use Select All after checking the visible group.
  2. Read the selected count. Deselect exceptions or use Deselect All to start again.
  3. For one trip that needs closer inspection, open its details and return to the list before building the next selection.

Choose the action for this group

The action bar offers trip types, a Vehicle menu when multiple vehicles exist, and Tag. Changing the vehicle or tag does not itself confirm the trip’s type. Each batch action clears the selection, so select the group again for a second change.

  1. Apply a type only when it is correct for every selected trip. Review exceptions separately.
  2. To correct the car, choose Vehicle and the actual vehicle. Open a changed trip and check the car and resulting figures.
  3. To set a shared client or purpose, choose Tag and an existing entry or New tag. This replaces the selected trips’ existing tag or purpose text.

Inspect examples and refresh the report

A batch correction changes the trip records. A PDF or CSV you already saved remains the earlier version. Do not use the absence of selected rows as proof that every trip now has the correct details.

  1. Open examples from the corrected group and check their type, car and tag or purpose.
  2. Return to the problem filter to see what still needs attention; repeat with a separate selection for each remaining group.
  3. Create a fresh report for the corrected period and check its totals and text before sharing it.
