SUPPORT / HOW TO
Save an activity log for support
When support needs to investigate recording, the activity log shows what this phone’s tracker did and when. Choose a short range around the problem.

Reveal the diagnostic screen in Settings
Activity Log is hidden from the Support section until you reveal it. The setting is local to this device: use the iPhone that recorded or missed the trip, not another device that only received the trip history.
- Open DriveHub Settings and scroll to the version number at the bottom.
- Tap the version five times quickly, within about three seconds.
- Return to the Support section in Settings and open Activity Log. If the row was already visible, no further taps are needed.

Narrow the log to the incident
The log holds up to 30 days of activity and is also limited by the number of events, so busy devices may retain less. The screen offers 1, 3, 7 and 30 days. The range you see is the range included in Copy and Save as File.
- Choose the shortest range that includes the missing or unexpected trip, with some activity before and after it.
- Read the timestamps and compare them with when you drove. A normal start, finish or discarded candidate is not by itself an error.
- If the list says there is nothing in this range, widen it. If the incident is no longer retained, describe it to support; widening cannot recover expired events.

Export the visible range as text
Use the options menu at the top of Activity Log. Copy places the selected range on the clipboard; Save as File opens sharing options for a text document. The export includes the app version and event details. Check the contents before choosing where to send them.
- Choose Copy if you need to paste the log into a support message, and wait for Copied to clipboard.
- For an attachment, choose Save as File and save the text document using the share sheet.
- Read the saved or pasted text, then send it with the approximate incident time and a description of what you expected to happen. Keep details needed to locate the event.

Keep the trip history and log separate
The activity log records tracker events; it is not a mileage report or a backup of your trips. Sharing it does not itself restore a missing journey. Hide Activity Log removes the diagnostic entry from Settings without deleting the saved trip history.
- Check or recover the trip separately in Trips and Missing Trips, following the appropriate guide.
- For a mileage report or a copy of trip records, use Reports and its export rather than the activity log.
- When finished, use Activity Log options → Hide Activity Log if you want to hide the diagnostic screen again. Reveal it with the same version taps when needed.
